Stobicast® L and Stobicast® M polyurethane potting compounds are widely used and serve as an ultimate insulation material for the industrial production of electrical components. They allow for extensive customization of many physical parameters including gel time, pot life, colored and transparent versions, heat conductivity, flame retardancy, elasticity under cold temperatures, adhesion and elongation at break.

Electronics, Sensor Technology and Automotive

Stobicast® L 806

Two- component, exceptionally soft & elastic polyurethane casting resin with good mechanical, insulating & flame-retardant properties. It is especially suitable for electronic devices with extremely sensitive component.

Stobicast® L 637

Low viscosity, two-component, flexible polyurethane casting resin with excellent electrical properties. Free of abrasive filler, with permanent elasticity, resistance to hydrolysis & excellent flexibility down to - 70°C. Stobicast® L 637.01 is typically used for outdoor electronics and sensors.

Stobicast® L 798

Exceptionally soft and elastic two-component polyurethane casting compound with good chemical resistance, excellent electrical & mechanical properties including high impact strength. Stobicast® L 798 is typically used for insulation of low voltage components such as electronics switches & others due to its self-extinguishing properties.

The casting compound is UL 94 V-2 recognized as self-extinguishing without any halogen or antimony containing flame retardants. Also, compliant with the RoHS (2002/95/EG) & electronic waste regulations (2002/96/EG WEEE directive of the EU). 

Stobicast® L 622

This is a two-component elastomeric polyurethane casting resin with good electrical & adhesive properties. L 622 is typically used for electronic applications, sensors coils & switches. It comes with a 1:1 mixing ratio facilitating the mixing process for special requirements.

Stobicast® L 771

Two-component elastic polyurethane casting resin with extremely low viscosity. L 771 does not contain any abrasive filler and is especially suitable for electronics, assembled printed circuit boards, sensors, controls, Reed switches etc. 

Stobicast® L 781

Elastic two-component polyurethane casting compound with excellent electrical & mechanical properties. Due to its high impact strength & good resistance to chemicals it is well suited for the insulation of low voltage components such as transformers, coils, electronics switches & other applications where self-extinguished properties are necessary. 

The casting compound is UL 94 V-0 recognized as self-extinguishing without any halogen or antimony containing flame retardants. UL 746B approved thermal stability to RTI 130°C. Compliant with the RoHS (2002/95/EG) & electronic waste regulations (2002/96/EG WEEE directive of the EU). Stobicast® L 781 is flame retardant according to the requirements of the Household Appliances standard IEC 60 335 having GWFI of 960 °C (glow wire flammability index IEC 60695-2-12) & GWIT of 850 °C (glow wire ignition temperature IEC 60695-2-13). 

Transformers, Capacitors and Motors

Stobicast® L 761

Low viscosity, two-component, elastic polyurethane casting resin with good mechanical & electrical properties. L 761 is a cost-efficient solution for low voltage electronic applications especially capacitors.

Stobicast® L 793

Elastic two-component polyurethane casting compound with excellent electrical & mechanical properties. Due to its high impact & tensile strength, and good resistance to chemicals it is well suited for the insulation of low voltage components such as transformers, coils, and electronic switches. L 793 is flame retardant & can even be applied under thermal cycle Conditions.

The casting compound is UL 94 V-0 recognized as self-extinguishing in very low thickness of 1.3 mm (UL file 302173). It is free of halogen and antimony containing flame retardants. The product complies with the RoHS (2002/95/EG) & electronic waste regulations (2002/96/EG WEEE directive of the EU). Stobicast® L 793 has been formulated as flame retardant according to the requirements of the Household Appliances standard IEC 60 335 having GWFI of 960 °C (glow wire flammability index IEC 60695-2-12) & GWIT of 850 °C (glow wire ignition temperature IEC 60695-2-13).

Stobicast® L 780

Two-component hard-flexible potting compound with high impact strength and resistance to water, transformer oil, gasoline, and other chemicals. This product is designed for applications such as transformers, coils and capacitors. UL 94 V-0 recognized and has an RTI of 130° C. 

Stobicast® L 792

Tough hard two-component polyurethane casting compound with excellent electrical & mechanical properties. Due to its high impact strength & good resistance to water, transformer oil, gasoline & other chemicals it is well suited for the insulation of low & medium voltage components as transformers, coils, electronics switches & other applications where high thermal conductivity is required.

The casting compound is self-extinguishing according to the standard UL 94 V-0, free of halogen and antimony containing flame retardants. It complies with various EN 45545-2:2013 railway requirement sets, with the RoHS (2002/95/EG) & electronic waste regulations (2002/96/EG WEEE directive of the EU). 

Stobicast® L 807

Hard-flexible two-component polyurethane casting compound with excellent electrical & mechanical properties & remarkably high thermal conductivity. Self-extinguishing with UL 94 V-0 certification. Due to its high impact strength & good resistance to water, transformer oil, gasoline & other chemicals, it is well suited for the insulation of low voltage components as transformers, coils & capacitors. The casting does not contain any halogen- or heavy metal components. It complies with the RoHS (2002/95/EG) & electronic waste regulation WEEE (2002/96/EG directive of the EU). 

Stobicast® L 808

Hard two-component polyurethane casting compound with low thermal expansion coefficient, excellent electrical insulation & mechanical properties. Due to these properties, it is often used for the insulation of low & medium voltage components.  

 The casting compound is self-extinguishing according to UL 94 V-0 and is free of any halogen or antimony containing flame-retardants. It complies with the RoHS (2002/95/EG) & electronic waste regulations (2002/96/EG WEEE directive of the EU). 

Stobicast® M 598

Two-component potting compound with very high impact strength and resistance to water, transformer oil, gasoline, and other chemicals. This product is designed for applications such as transformers, coils and capacitors and is UL 94 V-0 recognized.
