STOCKMEIER Urethanes builds 12 new police barracks for the Royal Oman Police in Oman
In cooperation with our customer, Khimji Rhamdas, we are excited to announce another major project in the Middle East. The construction project comprised of 12 multi-functional halls (each approx. 32,000 ft2) and outdoor multi-game courts (each approx. 10,000 ft2) in the newly built police barracks for the Royal Oman Police. The barracks are used for accommodation and training of the Military Police who are the government authority and bodyguards of the Sultan of Oman.
One of our highlights from 2019!
For the construction of the outdoor / indoor multigame courts, the customer chose the Stobigym 7+2 mm system. The system components are manufactured by our colleagues in France - Cernay. This is remarkable as this system is normally only used in halls. However, as it rarely rains in this region and special awnings protect the products from sun and UV radiation, this is possible.
Our sales representative Benno Bojahr, who is responsible for the project, was on site in Oman several times during the preparation and construction phase. As a supervisor, he was able to guide the construction team and explain the different steps of the work as well as show the techniques used.
All in all, a very successful project of which we can look back with pride. See photos below.

In Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Kunden Khimji Rhamdas, freuen wir uns gemeinsam ein weiteres Großprojekt im mittleren Osten realisiert zu haben. Das Projekt umfasste den Bau von 12 Multifunktionshallen (je ca. 3000 m²) und Outdoor Multigame Courts (je ca. 1000 m²) in den neu entstandenen Polizeikasernen für die Royal Oman Police. Die Kasernen dienen der Unterbringung und Ausbildung der Militär Polizei, welche zugleich Regierungsbehörde und Leibgarde des Sultans von Oman ist.

Für den Bau der Outdoor- / indoor Multigame Courts hat der Kunde das System Stobigym 7+2 mm gewählt. Die Systemkomponenten werden von unseren Kollegen in Frankreich - Cernay hergestellt. Dies ist insofern bemerkenswert, da dieses System normalerweise nur in Hallen verwendet wird. Da es jedoch in dieser Region eher selten regnet und spezielle Sonnensegel die Produkte vor Sonne und UV -Einstrahlung schützen, ist dies möglich.
Unser für das Projekt verantwortliche Außendienstmitarbeiter Benno Bojahr, war während der Vorbereitungs- und Bauphase mehrmalig im Oman vor Ort, um als Supervisor das Bauteam anzuleiten und sowohl die verschiedenen Arbeitsschritte zu erklären als auch die dafür vorgesehenen Techniken zu zeigen.
Alles in allem ein sehr gelungenes Projekt, auf welches wir stolz zurückblicken. Siehe Fotos unten.
